Butterfly Gardens |
| Butterfly gardens
have been constructed in different places and due
to the weather and location of Costa Rica, you will
have the opportunity to see a great diversity of
species and share the beauty and fascination of
butterflies in all stages of their life cycle. The
most renamed one are located near San Jose and in
Monteverde. From San Jose, La Paz Waterfall Garden
combines it in a tour where you will find five waterfalls,
hiking trails, bird watching areas and a hummingbird

the San Jose City tour, visiting the most important
museums and historical sites of the capital. In
Sarchi you will find a great variety of souvenirs
and also the famous ox carts. Outside the city,
if you are in the North area of Guanacaste, you
will have the opportunity to visit the Guanacaste
countryside seeing numerous small villages, melon
farms, and cattle ranches and the folkloric town
of Santa Cruz. Guaitil village is other place to
visit where you will learn how the artisans manufacture
and color Indigenous pottery. |

Other Activities |
| Few places in world
have many sea-turtle nesting sites as Costa Rica. During specific seasons, along
the Caribbean and Pacific coast you will have the
chance to observe how one of the most incredible
marine creatures arrives to the beaches. Many of
the nesting beaches are located inside National
Parks, some of the species that you will have the
opportunity to get in touch with are the leatherback,
hawksbill, green, and Pacific green turtles. Turtle
nesting tours can be taken in the North Pacific
coast to Santa Rosa National Park, Las Baulas National
Marine Park and Ostional National Wildlife Refugee,
and in the Caribbean coast going to Tortuguero National

The most famous hot spring in Costa
Rica is located in Arenal area with the comfort
