This vacational destination has become worldwide famous for its beaches, sunsets and surf points, as for its tropical atmosphere. In this little coast town you will find restaurants with local and international food, general stores, surf shops and tourist services. The closest small city is Cobano. |

How to get to Santa Teresa / Malpais?
To arrive to Santa Teresa beach you can
fly either to the Juan Santamaria International Airport or to the Daniel Oduber Internat Airport (Liberia). You can get to Santa Teresa Mal Pais by
renting a car (4x4 recommended,
especially during the rainy season),
private transportation or by domestic or
charter flights. The flights arrive to Tambor airstrip, located about 45 minutes away from Santa Teresa MalPais beach. |
