Sea Kayaking, Osa Peninsula - Golfo Dulce
(4 Day)
Experience a sea kayak trip at Osa Peninsula,
a unique adventure at the Golfo Dulce. The first
day you will depart from a small town on a ride
in a 4x4 to Rincon de Osa where you will spend the
night in cabins. Next two days are full days of
kayaking along the coastline, with time for snorkel
and to admire the area. |

Two nights camping allow you to get
in contact with nature, explore the surrounding area of
Osa Peninsula, enjoy hikes through trails and wake up
with the forest sounds. The last day you cross the Golfo
Dulce to arrive again to the town of Puerto Jimenez. Swimming
experience is required. Minimum of 4 persons. |

* Curu Sea Kayaking - 4 Days
You will explore Curu National Wildlife
Refuge and enjoy a sea kayak experience. Paddle
along the coast to the camp on Playa Quesera,
a beautiful, deserted, white sand beach. Playa
Quesera will be your base camp for the duration
of this adventure vacation. You can sleep in a
comfortable tent or under the stars in a hammock.

You spend the second and third
day discovering the area - kayaking to islands and a
natural rock arch formed by the sea, surf kayaking,
and paddling through a mangrove estuary inhabited by
numerous species of birds and colorful crabs. This destination
is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sea and native
wildlife. Swimming experience is required.

Sea Kayaking, Manuel Antonio Coast - One day
Enjoy a kayak tour in Manuel Antonio, you will enjoy
Manuel Antonio’s breathtaking cliffs and beautiful
rock formations as you follow the coastline.
There is a stop for fruits and snacks at a secluded
beach where you can explore or relax before continuing
around Punta Quepos. Paddling in proximity to Long
Island, you can see many shore birds nesting or
gliding on the thermals created by the offshore
winds that hit this rocky outcrop. |
This island, as well
as other nearby islands such the Gemelas and Olinga,
are protected and form part of the Manuel Antonio
National Park. Moderate physical condition required.

Tortuguero Jungle Kayaking / 2 to 4 Days
The area of Tortuguero National Park and its
surroundings is an area known world-wide for
its richness in biodiversity. This multi-day
tour is a paddling adventure, in sea kayaks,
into the heartland of this National Park,
through wonderful waterways. This kayaking
unique experience starts at the boundary of
the National Park on the Tortuguero River,
paddling through lowlands and rainforest where
boats are not able to transit, through lush
forest with amazing flora and fauna. |

On second and third
day you will spend the day exploring and discovering
this magical area, several options will be available
to paddle from and back to the lodge. You will be
staying in a comfortable lodge.

- One day
Damas Island Estuary is located near Quepos
area and Manuel Antonio beach. Kayaking
through the smooth inland waterways of the
Damas Island Estuary, host to one of the
most unusual types of vegetation on the
planet, the mangrove, you have the opportunity
to learn the importance of this delicate
ecosystem. |
Mangroves
are located where the salt waters of the
ocean meet the fresh waters of tropical
rivers creating a periodically submerged
forest of interlacing aerial roots. On this
day adventure you have the opportunity to
observe the animals and birds that lives
in this unique habitat.

Enjoy a pleasant morning of kayaking at the Arenal

National Wildlife Refuge, where you will enjoy
the sea kayaking around the area; the Pacuare
River, that offers one of the most breathtaking

you the chance to enjoy the Pacuare Lodge and
its surroundings for activities such as hiking,
bird watching, waterfalls and pools; and, the
Pascua section of the Reventazon River, that will
challenge the most adventurous kayakers. |

between Class III-IV at Pacuare River, Class III

can choose a bigger challenge on the Class IV-IV+
at Pascua section of the Reventazon River. For whitewater
kayaking experience is required. |
