Day
1. Arrive to Costa Rica
Upon arrival to San Jose, a representative of the
agency will greet you at the airport and provide
the transfer to the hotel in San Jose.
Day 2. San Jose - optinal
tour
There are full day tours from San Jose
that are worthy, such as one day whitewater rafting
adventure; or La Paz Waterfall Garden Combo Tour
that includes a visit to a coffee plantation,
the Poas Volcano, to a butterfly and hummingbird
garden and a hike through a trail that take you
to discover five waterfalls.
You will be staying in a hotel in San Jose. |

Day
3. San Jose - Tortuguero
Early in the morning your guide will pick you up
at the hotel. Stop for breakfast in Guapiles before
arrival to a private dock, where you will board
the boat for your ride to Tortuguero. Afternoon
tour to Tortuguero town: visit the Caribbean Conservation
Corporation Museum and the village. Return by boat
to the lodge for free time or enjoy the swimming
pool area and surroundings. Dinner and overnight
at Lodge in Tortuguero. |

Tortuguero National Park is a navigable
network of lagoons and canals on the Caribbean side of
Costa Rica, with a great biological diversity: more than
300 species of birds and impressive wildlife, cocodriles,
monkeys, sloths, iguanas and many others. From July to
September this area becomes home for the nesting period
of the Green Sea Turtle. During this time of the year,
night tours are available. |

Day
4. Tortuguero - Arenal
After a cup of coffee, the hotel will provide
transportation to the local airstrip for the 6:50
am flight back to San Jose. A private transfer
will be waiting for you at the airport for your
land transportation to your hotel in the Arenal
area.
On the north region of the
country, this rain forest zone is where the Arenal
Volcano is located. Arenal Volcano is active since
1968, with occasional eruptions during the day
or the night, ash and smoke columns and lava flows
on northwest side of the volcano, spectacle that
you might enjoy depending on weather conditions. |

Day 5. Arenal
Day for optional activities. This destination offers you
a great variety of tours: canopy, horseback riding, hiking
in the National Park or to Celeste River, whitewater rafting,
canyoning, mountain biking, hot springs, boat safari (floating),
exploring Venado caves, Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge
boat tour, kayaking at Arenal Lake, and more.
You will stay in a hotel in the Arenal area. |

Day
6. Arenal - Guanacaste beach
During the morning land transfer to the Guanacaste
area, where the famous North Pacific beaches such
as Tamarindo, Flamingo, Ocotal, Conchal and Papagayo
and others are located. Depending on your preferences
we will suggest you the best beach destination and
your hotel for the following two nights. |

Day 7. Guanacaste
beach
Relax at the beach or by the pool or take a one day tour.
This area offers you a wide variety of optional activities
such as horseback riding tours, canopy tour, Rincon de
La Vieja National Park (volcano), Santa Rosa National
Park (dry forest and history), floating at Corobici River,
tour to Guaitil (Indian making pottery), and others. |

Day
8. Guanacaste beach - San Jose
Afternoon return to the hotel in San Jose. Enjoy
a special dinner at your hotel or, depending on
the day of the week, you might want to experience
a typical night show and dinner in Pueblo Antiguo
(Fridays and Saturdays) or Ram Luna (Wednesdays). |

Day 9. San
Jose - International Airport
After an incredible vacation package in the country,
we will arrange a transfer to the Juan Santamaria International
Airport, for your flight home. |

Notes:
The last night in San Jose might not be necessary depending
on the destination you are coming from and your international
flight departure time.
Transportation can be done by private
transfer or taking local flights to most of the destinations.
Also a rental car can be arranged or a shuttle bus service
to some of the destinations.
